Sand blasting is not a degreasing service. Though some is acceptable given the nature of the parts. Thick built up grease, dirt, or wet gooey grease must be removed from the parts prior to our services.  

Items Need to be stripped completely  - No wiring, plastic, cables, interior panels, rubber gromets, plugs, etc...

Aluminum wheels typically require chemical stripping over media blasting to remove multi layer paints or powder coat. Addition charges may apply for this service. 

Engine and drive components must be free from wet oil or heavy grease.  Solvent baths are highly recommended to ensure the media from blasting or powder coat does not stick to left over residue. 

It is highly recommended you clean out your parts prior to bringing them in for service. Mostly automotive components and bodies. The blasting process creates high winds which will blow trash and debris all over our blasting booth resulting in extra labor charges for clean up. 

Powder Coat will not fill in gaps so make sure you are satisfied with the look of your welds
